  • Phasing It, a collaboration by Youth Corps Singapore and Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT) returns for a second edition!

    Virtual Red Box by Youth Corps Singapore is a place where all youths can come together to pick up new skills, connect with one another and do good together.


    We welcome youths between 15-35 years of age to join us, as we embark on various interactive online activities and volunteering opportunities.

     

    The activities are centred around 5 main series - #mindoverbody, #skillsup, #youth4good, #getreadywithme and #ilike__. From sessions focused on personal well-being to using the virtual space to do good, the sky is your limit!

Phasing It is back!

 

"Life is tough".
Transitions are, too. It might be a difficult season of waiting, struggle with expectations, relationship complications or other life disruptions. These challenging moments are inevitable. However, what can we do to phase through them? After all, aren't we all a Work in Progress? 

In collaboration with the Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT), join us for Phasing It 2.0 as we explore how we can navigate through life transitions in various contexts such as school, work and relationships over 4 sessions.

Session 1: The Wait...

 

Life tends to give us opportunities to wait, and we often find ourselves waiting for an answer, a result, an opportunity or a change. These waiting seasons of uncertainty may sometimes bring about much worries and anxiety, as well as a sense of helplessness. How might we cope better? How might we make waiting easier? Join us in The Wait… to unpack these strategies by hearing from invited guests and other youths!

 

Session 2: What’s (good) enough?

“I’m not good enough. Not smart enough. Not strong enough. Not fit enough. Not …” What’s exactly enough?

As we navigate through life, we're often left wondering whether what we're doing is enough and whether 
we should do more.

Join us in this session as we grapple with our internal and external expectations and how we may manage them.

 

Session 3: It’s Complicated?

“It’s complicated ...” a phrase that is often used to describe issues in relationships, be it between friends, partners or family. It seems common for relationships to go through tough times. What can we do to cope better during these challenging periods?

Join us as we unpack how we might phase through relationship complications through the lenses of managing transitions and discover ways to improve our relationships by learning from one another! Perhaps these complications aren't that bad after all...

 

Session 4: Life, Interrupted;

All sessions are conducted on Zoom. Registration closes at 12pm on the day before each session.

 

Do note that no service hours are accorded for participants of events.
